Trump deploys military aircraft in Uruguay to support Argentina’s G20 summit

The United States of America have received clearance from the Uruguayan Government to establish a base of operations for aircraft that support argentine armed forces role for the G20 summit taking place in Buenos Aires. This deployment will include KC-135 tankers, C-17 Transports, three early warning aircraft E-3 Sentry and three F/A-18 Super Hornet fighters, with 400 troops.

These Super Hornets will escort the VC-25 Air Force One on his flight towards and from Buenos Aires. Versions yet to be confirmed, have stated that an aircraft carrier will be on alert if needed, as has been agreed by Defense Secretary James Mattis and argentine Defense Minister Oscar Aguad.

The G20 summit will take place in Nov 30th and Dec 1st, this will be the first time that Argentina will host such an event and it has a massive impact in Buenos Aires life. This summit’s own political temperature will mark the agenda as well for the leaders of China, France, Germany, Japan, UK, Russia and the U.S.
