Argentinean armed forces have deployed recently acquired equipment during the Youth Olympic Games that took place in Buenos Aires from October 6th to October 18th. CBRN ready mobile posts have been set up in strategic points in downtown Buenos Aires, also with C-UAS gear and in alert for possible intrusions or cyberattacks on infrastructure.
State sources indicate that Argentina bought 5.2 million dollars in Israel financed equipment. Such software and hardware, for cybersecurity and counter UAS respectively. An undisclosed variant of the ELI-4030, Drone Guard, has been seen in test prior to the development by the Argentine Air Force (FAA).
